Wow, I miss photography. Or, I miss my camera. The one thing I absolutely hate about my camera is its lack of digital-ness. Otherwise, I would have so many new pictures. It's kind of hard to learn to use a camera through trial and error when that involves money (for film and developing) and extra time (for developing), neither of which I have or have the patience for.
But otherwise, I've been pretty good. I've been stressing as usual over horn lately, even though I shouldn't be too worried. Sometimes it's a good thing and a bad thing to know people in the studio: it's frustrating when they're amazing where you're struggling, but really a nice thing when you are struggling and so are they. Lately, the 2nd half of that has been the prominent feeling I've had. It's nice, even though the fact that I'm less than a month from my audition is still trying to creep up and choke me.
I've also been having... well I've just been realizing some really great things lately. Things are starting to come together for me, and I partially attribute that to all the thinking I've been doing lately, and to some really great friends of mine (whether they know it or not). Things just make more sense when they make sense.
Today, I got back to my dorm at about 12:30 am. Where was I? In a practice room with a couple friends and our horns (well, only the one friend plays horn but you get the idea) and just messing around (musically or otherwise lol). This is why I love college. I still haven't gone to bed yet, but that's mostly because my roommate is sleeping and I don't want to use a hairdryer and wake her up. I can't stand going to bed with wet hair, so I'm just wasting some time here.
Well, I'm actually quite tired. So I think I'm gonna brush my teeth and work on getting some sleep.
